In your caravan, every seating area can be fine-tuned to your comfort: with Vanmade® cushions, you can choose the desired height and firmness for each element – even mixing them within a single seating group. In our online configurator, you can assemble seat cushions, backrests, or a seat-and-sleep combination step by step, and choose between different foam types and features such as folding edges, Velcro underneath, and anti-slip bands.
To help you make the right choice quickly, the configurator displays a clear recommendation scale for each use case. For pure seat cushions with medium firmness, the mid-level firmness H3 at around 8–10 cm has proven ideal. If you prefer a firmer feel, choose a lower height (up to about 7 cm) and the highest firmness level H4. For the backrest, we generally recommend going a bit softer or slightly lower so that your shoulders and back rest comfortably.

With folding edges, for example, you can configure your cushions so they open exactly where needed, giving you access without having to move any elements aside. If you only need access to one section, simply design that seat cushion as foldable – open, reach in, close.
