Whether you prefer subtle, modern, cozy, or striking – each material has its own character and brings a unique touch to your camper or home. All fabrics, with over 70,000 abrasion cycles, are perfectly made for everyday use on the road or at home. You can choose between:

Classic: Robust, easy to care for, and clean – perfect for versatile use
Coarse: Textured, durable, and distinctive – strong in appearance
Cord: Distinctive, durable, and full of vintage charm – retro style
Velour: Soft, elegant, and homely – ideal for a gentle, cozy atmosphere

3. Which height and firmness level should I choose?

To make sure you sit or lie comfortably on your cushion, it’s all about finding the right balance between firmness and height. Both determine how soft or firm your cushion feels and how well it supports your body.

A slightly thicker cushion with lower firmness usually provides more comfort for lying down, while thinner cushions with higher firmness are perfect if you mainly sit on them or use them as a backrest.
The firmness level determines how deeply you sink into the cushion: soft and cozy, medium-firm to firm for balanced support, or hard for maximum stability – depending on your body weight and intended use.

Tip: Lighter people usually enjoy the best comfort on softer cushions, while firmer foams are ideal if you sit frequently or prefer more stability.

Fabrics can slide on smooth surfaces, or a backrest might need to be fixed against a wall. That’s exactly why Vanmade® offers a variety of smart features.
You can choose between:

Foldable: Your cushion elements are connected with a high-strength double hinge made from the same upholstery fabric. This keeps your cushions together, even with frequent folding.
Anti-slip: Two to three 7.5 cm wide anti-slip strips are sewn onto the underside of your cushions.
Velcro underneath: Two Velcro strips are sewn to the underside of your cushions. The counterpart is included and can be attached wherever you like – by gluing or stapling.

Does my cushion always come with a cover?

All our cushions are always manufactured as finished products. If you would like something different, please take a look at our accessories.

Can I order a wedge shape for my backrest?

Yes, that’s no problem. Simply send us a drawing with your measurements and the desired wedge shape. Feel free to use our drawing template for cushions and send it to support@vanmade.de.

Can I sleep on the seat cushions?

That’s possible, but we recommend our seat and sleeping cushion instead. With this, you get the proven combination of sitting and sleeping.

How can I obtain fabric samples?

Fabric samples can be easily ordered via our configurator. Select the upholstery category, scroll to the bottom right, and click on “Order fabric samples” – here you can choose all your desired colors and fabrics.

How can I configure curves?

For curves or radii, please send us a drawing with the relevant dimensions to support@vanmade.de. We will then prepare a customised quote for you. Click here for the drawing templates.
