Mattresses are designed for optimal sleep. Upholstery is designed for optimal sitting. Of course, you can also sit on the mattress or sleep on the upholstery, but the focus is clear. Our mattresses have a thin knitted cover around the foam core, as well as a flexible and soft mattress cover. The cushions are made with a padded foam core and a robust cushion cover. A cushion is always slightly firmer than a mattress of the same height and hardness.

You have two options for your seating and sleeping combination: our Vanmade® Original mattress or the upholstery oasis. If you focus on restful sleep, the mattress is perfect for you. If you want to sit and sleep equally comfortably, the upholstery is the ideal solution.

In principle, it is possible to manufacture all products in a foldable design. However, we recommend that you avoid folding edges on our 7-zone mattress and our premium mattress as much as possible to ensure that the zones unfold completely.

All our mattresses and upholstery are designed to work on a solid surface and provide a high level of comfort. A base such as a slatted frame or disc springs will further enhance comfort.

We recommend basing your choice on the heavier body weight. A slightly firmer mattress is usually not a problem for the lighter person. For a height of 10 cm, for example, the medium firmness level H3 is suitable.

On our Vanmade® Original mattress, Premium mattress and cushions, the zip is always positioned in the centre. Toppers and mattresses have the zip on the underside. Depending on the configuration, it is necessary to sew the zip in a U-shape across 2-3 sides of the cushions, which is done by our staff. If you have any special requests regarding the zip placement, please feel free to contact us.

You will find a complete explanation of the degrees of firmness in the product descriptions. The key factors here are your body weight, your sleeping preferences and the desired height of your mattress/upholstery.
The density (RG) indicates the compactness of the foam in kg/m³. A higher density means greater durability and comfort. Our mattresses are made of RG40 foam – a quality material that is durable, dimensionally stable and very comfortable at the same time.
Please specify the dimensions of your desired mattress so that it will fit into your bed frame. We always manufacture to the final dimensions. If your order consists of several parts (chain dimensions), you will be asked to provide us with a simple sketch of the arrangement of your elements after placing your order.

Configure your desired product with the desired number of folds conveniently in our online configurator. You can then specify your individual requirements in the free text field – we will then coordinate with you for the final solution.

Hand samples cannot realistically convey the true sitting and lying comfort of our foams. If you are unsure, simply write to us at support@vanmade.de – we will be happy to advise you personally.

Yes. Under the heading ‘Accessories’ (link) in our online configurator, you will find, among many other products, the option to create a foam cut-out. There you can select your desired dimensions and your preferred sitting or lying comfort.

In our accessories section, you will find all our fitted sheets and can easily configure your desired product. If you already have a configuration code or order number, you can send it to us by e-mail at support@vanmade.de.

You can easily order a mattress or upholstery cover as well as foam materials from our accessories department. Do you have a config code or order number? Even better – please send it to us by e-mail at support@vanmade.de and we will look up your measurements.

In the online configurator, you select your product and the desired shape. Then you specify the dimensions, height, firmness and cover. Finally, you add your mattress to the shopping basket – and, if you like, the matching accessories, too.

You are also welcome to order your mattress or upholstery with curves. Simply send us a drawing of your desired configuration by e-mail to support@vanmade.de and we will prepare a customised quote for you. You can find the drawing templates HERE (link). Please note that radii of less than 5 cm cannot be accommodated due to production constraints.

You can also order your desired mattress in oversized dimensions of up to 220 cm in length. In addition, a separate foam element is glued on. The lying comfort remains completely unchanged.
Our online configurator offers the option of a ‘config code’. This is a sequence of letters and numbers that you can copy and save. If you want to continue with your order later, you can simply enter the code at the bottom of the online configurator overview and you will be taken to your desired mattress.
Please check our online configurator first to see if your desired shape is available and can be configured. If this is not the case, you can create a drawing and send it to support@vanmade.de. We will then provide you with an initial non-binding quote.
You can measure the radius of a mattress by determining the distance from the edge of the curve to the centre point (centre of rotation) of the radius.
If you have a discount code, you can easily enter it in the ‘Promo code’ field in your shopping basket, and the amount will be deducted automatically.
You can view all your orders and the estimated delivery times in your customer account.
Your measurements are manufactured with a tolerance of +/- 5 mm.
We usually ship within 11-16 working days. Please allow a little more time during the peak season from March to August. Delivery by DHL is usually reliable within 1-3 working days throughout Germany.
All our products are custom-made for you. Therefore, express delivery is not possible. Shipping is carried out by DHL within 1-3 working days throughout Germany.

We offer numerous payment options. You can choose between prepayment (bank transfer), PayPal, credit card payment, invoice (Klarna) and several others – whichever is most convenient for you.
We ship exclusively with DHL. Delivery within Germany usually takes 1-3 working days.
You can conveniently select your desired delivery location at your address via the DHL tracking page. Our parcels are usually too large for delivery to a packing station.
As soon as you receive the e-mail with the DHL tracking number, you can use it to specify a desired delivery location at your address or drop-off at a branch. You can also delay the delivery date by up to three days.

Yes – we ship throughout Europe with DHL for €29.99 per two mattresses or upholstery items. Delivery to Switzerland is also possible without any problems. Here we ship DAP duty unpaid for €49.99 per two mattresses or upholstery items.

All Vanmade® products can be tested and tried out at our store in Würzburg. We are happy to advise you!

Our mattresses (Vanmade® Original Mattress, 7-Zone Mattress, Mattress Landscape and Premium Mattress) can be tried out for 33 days, provided that no folding functions have been selected. If something does not suit you within this period, please send us an e-mail to support@vanmade.de and we will find a solution together or you will receive your money back. Because good sleep on the road is priceless: with a 33-day trial period, you can try out our Vanmade® mattresses at your leisure (except for custom-made upholstery and folding mattresses).
As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive your invoice by e-mail along with the shipping confirmation.
With the receipt of this e-mail it is confirmed that your mattress has been firmly scheduled for production. It will then be individually manufactured and shipped to you immediately upon completion. The delivery time depends on current production capacity.
Our mattresses and upholstery are high-quality, custom-made products that offer the best seating and sleeping comfort for many years. With normal use and care, they have a lifespan of around 5 years or more – depending on wear and tear, even significantly longer.

As a B2B partner, we first work with you to determine the right product and assign it an individual product number. If you need another set (10 or more identical mattresses or upholstery parts) at a later date, simply send us a quick e-mail with the product number and quantity – we'll take care of the rest.

Theoretically, it's quite simple – the thicker the mattress, the more comfortable it is to lie on. From a thickness of approx. 12 cm, there is more scope in terms of softness and medium firmness. Below this, a firmer version should be chosen.

We recommend that you always use a fitted sheet or mattress topper. Just like at home, a mattress cover is more delicate than your sofa set – using a protective cover will also increase the longevity of your mattress.

A topper is basically designed to increase the comfort of an existing mattress. For restful sleep, you need the support of a suitable mattress or cushion.

Fabric samples can be conveniently ordered via our upholstery page (link). Simply scroll down, click on ‘Order fabric samples’ and select your 5 desired colours.
Usually the corduroy fabric is always perpendicular to your configuration. If you would like something different, please send us your request as soon as possible, quoting your VM number, to support@vanmade.de and we will adjust your order accordingly.

All our mattress and upholstery covers are removable and washable. We recommend washing them at 30°-40° and not using fabric softener. You can find more detailed information in the product descriptions.
