I recently ordered some cushions here. Admittedly, I was a bit late. All the competitors listed delivery times for custom-cut cushions that meant they probably wouldn't arrive until after I'd left for vacation. Somewhat worried, I called here and had a wonderfully pleasant conversation with customer support, who confirmed that the cushions would arrive before my trip and that she would add a note to my order. It only took a week (a similar order from a competitor listed three weeks for delivery), and I had the cushions in my hands. That took a lot of stress off my shoulders. Sitting on wood isn't exactly comfortable for extended periods. The first test run is already quite comfortable; now I'll really put them to the test on vacation. 6/5 stars for the support! We've been the proud owners of a Vanmade mattress for our VW T4 since the end of August and have never slept so well in our van as we have since then :) The ordering process beforehand was straightforward, and customer support responded to our questions very quickly and helpfully. However, customer service responded immediately and very efficiently, and as a gesture of goodwill, they made a new one for me and sent it again. We compared several providers before choosing Vanmade and haven't regretted it. We ordered through their generator and received a response and sketch within a day. In less than two weeks, our cushions arrived. The fabric is exactly as we imagined. The cushions fit perfectly. The seams and covers are beautifully finished. Even though Vanmade is a few euros more expensive than some other companies, it's worth every penny. We experienced excellent and straightforward communication and fast, high-quality order processing. Highly recommended!

From the time I placed my order to receiving the correct product, Vanmade took over nine weeks, causing me considerable frustration. The mattress quality is good, though not exceptional in my opinion. This is generally acceptable to me, as I paid the higher price primarily for the customization, not just the material. However, it was precisely this customization that caused the problem: Vanmade didn't manufacture my mattress according to my specifications and shipped it anyway. Even a simple visual inspection revealed that the delivered mattress didn't match my order. Mistakes happen. However, the fact that this clearly visible error wasn't noticed before shipping makes me question the quality control process for my order. I was promised a suitable replacement. However, this wasn't sent until after more than three weeks without any further response, when I contacted them again and set a final deadline before canceling the purchase. I needed the mattress sooner. In hindsight, I regret trusting Vanmade and not choosing a more affordable provider. The overall product quality is good. However, due to the faulty manufacturing, the very long overall delivery time, and what I consider inadequate communication, I unfortunately cannot recommend Vanmade to anyone who values ​​reliable service.

We ordered the Vanmade Original mattress, custom-made (17cm) in a 2-section folding version for our VW Bulli, and we're absolutely thrilled. I had custom-made mattresses for my Hymer Grand Canyon S at vanmade – and honestly, I didn't expect the difference to be so noticeable. The bed geometry in the back of the Sprinter is quite complex – three mattresses, one of which is foldable, so essentially four pieces with intricate shapes. The original mattresses had to be sent to vanmade for this. But the result is simply outstanding: the new mattresses fit perfectly, as if they were designed exactly that way from the factory. What I'm really impressed with is the cover: pleasantly soft and truly cozy on top, robust and perfectly suited for camping on the bottom. This combination makes all the difference in everyday use. The cold foam core (firmness level 3) is a real winner for me – finally, no more tossing and turning, just lying down and feeling comfortable. Important: You actually have to lie on it; just testing it with your hand is completely misleading. A big thank you also to Carina and the team in Würzburg – the consultation was not only expert but also incredibly pleasant and personal. In addition, the communication was fast and reliable, which is anything but a given these days. I've now slept several nights on my new "mattress landscape"—and I actually wake up refreshed every morning. For me, it's a real improvement in my quality of life while traveling. Delivery: We ordered the goods on August 2nd. On August 26th, we received a notification that the goods had been delivered, but we hadn't received anything. After a phone call and email exchange with customer service, the initial response was that the goods had probably been sent to another customer. (Customer service is very friendly and helpful!). This statement was revised after internal clarification. We had actually been given an incorrect tracking number, which meant we were tracking another customer's shipment. The goods were finally delivered on September 5th. Delivery time was 5 weeks. Receipt of the goods: The cushions arrived vacuum-packed and perfectly clean – no manufacturing marks were visible. The dimensions are also excellent – ​​the three cushion sections (two of which are foldable) fit the sleeping surface perfectly. The cushions look great and feel high-quality. First night: After the first night, we found the cushions to be very hard and also experienced joint pain. We were confused and contacted customer support again. We suspected that the foam used wasn't the H2-soft type, but rather H3 or even H4. Customer support immediately clarified the matter with the manufacturer. Contrary to our assumption, we were assured that it was indeed the H2-hard foam. We were quite surprised to find that this foam is the "H2-soft" type, which is advertised on the website as being "focused on sleep." In our opinion, this is very misleading, as one expects a relatively soft cushion, but instead receives an extremely firm, hard one. It's fine for sitting. However, if you tend to be a softer sleeper, you'll wake up the next day or during the night with pain. Customer Support: We expressed our concerns to customer support, who immediately forwarded them to the team leader. We then received the very welcome news that Vanmade intends to resolve our issue. We were invited to try out three softer alternative pillows. Vanmade then sent us our favorite – free of charge! This truly demonstrated that customer satisfaction is their top priority! We hadn't expected such support and were very pleasantly surprised. The new pillows fit our covers perfectly and offer a significantly improved sleeping experience, which is exactly what we, as soft sleepers, are looking for. In conclusion: The pillows are well-made and visually appealing. After the first night on the cushions we initially ordered, we were very disappointed and thought: "We've purchased a very expensive product that doesn't fulfill its main purpose of providing a comfortable sleeping environment in our self-converted van." However, after a thorough exchange with customer support and the resulting solution—a new, softer cushion—we are absolutely thrilled and can highly recommend Vanmade! For those who prefer a softer sleeping surface and want to focus on sleeping, we would recommend choosing mattresses instead of cushions, even though the colorful selection of cushion covers can be very tempting.
