Mattresses are designed for optimal sleep. Upholstery is designed for optimal sitting. Of course, you can also sit on the mattress or sleep on the upholstery, but the focus is clear. Our mattresses have a thin knitted cover around the foam core, as well as a flexible and soft mattress cover. The cushions are made with a padded foam core and a robust cushion cover. A cushion is always slightly firmer than a mattress of the same height and hardness.
You have two options for your seating and sleeping combination: our Vanmade® Original mattress or the upholstery oasis. If you focus on restful sleep, the mattress is perfect for you. If you want to sit and sleep equally comfortably, the upholstery is the ideal solution.
In principle, it is possible to manufacture all products except our premium mattress in a foldable design. However, we recommend that you avoid folding edges on our 7-zone mattress and our premium mattress as much as possible to ensure that the zones unfold completely.
You can measure the radius of a mattress by determining the distance from the edge of the curve to the centre point (centre of rotation) of the radius.
Please specify the dimensions of your desired mattress so that it will fit into your bed frame. We always manufacture to the final dimensions. If your order consists of several parts (chain dimensions), you will be asked to provide us with a simple sketch of the arrangement of your elements after placing your order.
